Laura Beck has been a professional photographer since 2003 but has been serious about photographing her entire life. She started out her professional career as an associate wedding photographer for a company in New York. After years of only weddings, she went freelance and opened up her business to all genres of photography. In 2011 she had her first boudoir shoot and she loved it. Over the years she watched as her work really grew and developed in the boudoir genre in ways that weren't comparable to any other genre that she photographed. Boudoir was where she felt the most confident as a photographer but more importantly the most fulfilled, and the happiest. This realization confirmed where she would be headed in the years to come. In 2017 she stopped photographing other genres and opened up The Siren Boudoir Studio ®. From there she started selling her signature tones, The Siren Presets, through LookLikeFIlm's preset company Meridian. She also sells her in depth posing guide called The Siren Posing Guide through her website. She's won an award through Rangefinder Magazine for The Body competition, many Do More Photographer awards, and local Best of awards. She has been published all over including the Huffington Post, Today, and Good Light Magazine. She has judged international boudoir competitions put on by AIBP (Association of International Boudoir Photographers) and LooksLikeFilm Bare, which is the LooksLikeFilm boudoir community she leads. Over her years of success and growth as a business owner, her greatest accomplishment in business has been making an impact in her client's lives and how they view themselves. Her studio is a place where she focuses on creating an inclusive space where people are able to reconnect, reclaim, empower, and express themselves- and of course, remind themselves what bad ass hotties they are.
